I spent much of the summer of 2022 working for my old high school. Most of the work I did involved making ADA-compliant signage for their new facility. This meant spending substantial time using a laser cutter to cut out dual-layer signage. As well as 3D printing little chips with braille dots. The hardest part was finding a way to create braille that wasn't extraordinarily expensive as due to heavy patenting most methods are. It wasn't a complex project but was at a pretty large scale (several hundred signs total).
